About Me

Just trying to do good in the world in each small way that I can. Every day is a new beginning to try to be the best person I can be. I am human and I make more than my fair share of mistakes, but how is a person to grow unless they learn from those same mistakes? It's the trying that counts. Eventually the small ways will lead to a greater path and hopefully, when I'm gone someone will be able to say, "You know...she was a good person, I'll miss her." Beauty is everywhere: it is in the natural, organic forms found all around us. Those earthly shapes, colors and textures can be harnessed using design elements guiding the viewer to see the beauty within. In this way the everyday becomes sacred. I am interested in showing the interior and exterior physical anatomy as well as the energy and spirit by using realistic and symbolic imagery. I use personal life experiences, memories, stories as my inspiration. Each piece is representative of thoughtful reflection. The intricate style of the work leads to meditation which aids in my remembering a time and place. It also ingrains these stories so that they might be passed down to subsequent generations.
