About Me
In Greek mythology, Athena poped out of Zeus's skull fully armed. She is known as the goddess of war, goddess of peace, noted for being compassionate and generous. She was a patron of the arts and crafts. She was also known as the goddess of wisdom. She guarded Athens and was even know to be concerned with fertility. Athena was a strong and well rounded woman. I am too. I am a native born Texan. I come from a long legacy of strong Texas women. I have two siblings who are both great friends. My parents are the best. (though my mom now is a citizen of heaven) I grew up "where the west began." Went to a small Baptist university and achieved a master's degree from a small methodist University. I have a super husband who works hard so I can stay home with Butch, Sundance and Baby (not their real names, I do have some creativity). I am a committed Christian. I became a Christian at an early age and have not strayed far from it. I also became a Democrat at an early age and here I am in the 49% minority. I am a teacher by profession and by hobby. I can't seem to stop teaching something. I am always teaching my kids.
