Favorite Music Most 1950's Jazz, anything by Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Herbie Hancock, Earth Wide & Fire, Chicago, Average White Band, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Chaka Khan, Classic Motown, Classic Blues, Baroque and Classic Orchestra Music and a bunch of obscure people no one has heard of (Ben Sidran and They Might Be Giants, for two example).
Favorite Books Anything by Greg Palast, Walter Moseley, Roger Angell and Margaret Wheatley; The Cluetrain Manifesto, Beyond the Bake Sale by Anne Henderson and her colleagues, Discovering Common Ground by Marvin Weisbord; Mindful Politics, edited by Melvin McLeod, The One to One Future by Don Peppers and Martha Rogers, Out of Control by Kevin Kelly, Values-Driven Business by Ben Cohen and Mal Warwick, Marketing that Matters by Eric Friedenwald-Fishman, The 2% Solution by Matt Miller, Stewardship by Peter Blocks, Silk Road to Ruin by Ted Rall, The Invisible Grail by John Simmons; George Pelecanos is my favorite right now.
