About Me

I'm a native Californian who started out my creative journey in life by learning to sew and embroider as a very young child. I come from a long line of amazing quilters and seamstresses, but always felt a little constrained by the traditional patterns. I dabbled in painting and ceramics in my teen years. It wasn't until I discovered working with paper about 7 years ago that I really began to feel like a creative being. I am most content when I have ink or paint on my hands. When I'm not in my craft room, I substitute teach, play taxi driver to a teen, teach at my local scrapbook store, walk the dogs, and treasure hunt at my favorite thrift shops. My morning tea and afternoon chocolate keep the fires burning.
