This blog is dedicated in memory of the first leftist weekly newspaper al-Insaniyyah ('The Humanity') published by the People's Party in Lebanon (the first communist party in the Arab world) established by Fouad Shemali and Yousef yazbeck in 1924, the first edition of the paper was published on May 15, 1925
