About Me

is an anthropologist with an interest in history, museums, tourism, and cultural production. She received her PhD from the Interdisciplinary Doctorate Program at Tufts University. Her book The Lowell Experiment: Public History in a Postindustrial City (University of Massachusetts Press, 2006) was the 2007 winner of the National Council on Public History Book Award. She is currently thinking of ways to drive her car less, hence this blog!
