Introduction Native Ohioan. Studied English and theater in college, and performed regularly with an improvisational comedy troupe. Moved to California at 22, and began teaching high school in the middle of the desert. Ran a fairly successful theater program, directing three shows a year and overseeing an improv troupe. Now attending a nationally-ranked research institution and working on a PhD in Education. Movies, music, literature, and a healthy mistrust of authority. Does anything else really matter?

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?

I don't. I tilt my head so the afflicted ear is facing up, sprinkle in Kool-Aid, shake my head in a circular motion for 2 minutes, and then let my friends drink out of my ear with a Krazy Straw.
