About Me

I became an animal keeper a couple years after graduating college and have worked here for five years. I have always had a passion for big cats, which started with a visit to this museum when I was very young. At the time, the museum had a cougar, and I was instantly fascinated. I also fell in love with prairie dogs while doing my college internship. I spent two months at Bryce Canyon, Utah helping with a study on the ecological behavior of black-tailed prairie dogs and learned an immense amount about the species. One of my newest passions is for red wolves, which has also developed since working at the museum. I guess you could say this museum has had a great deal of influence on my life, and I hope to carry that on to others.
