| Introduction | My home is where I work. May I encourage all homemakers that you can do it! I grew up with little training on housework, cooking, and generally taking care of the home. When I was in Secondary School, I didn't even know how to cook vegetables. Plants die on me. But I could study Maths and Science! So I did really well in my teenage and adult years. After I was married, it was tough coping with housework but it was fun learning. When kids came along, it was even tougher as the little ones were so needy. They often test my patience too.. or should I say they made me realised how impatient and self-centred I can be.. My hubby and I often say.. marriage is hard work.. but it's worth it! We want to grow old in love together, and give our children a secure and stable home. Well, to cut the whole story short, life has taught me lots of lessons, and I will be lost without my compass - my God and His Word. So after 7 years as a homemaker, and with kids a little more stable, I hope to finally compile some of my life's journey, share recipes, gardening attempts, home matters, children related stuff, relationship issues and whatevers. |
