| Introduction | I'm a Mummy to six children.I'm married to Woody,and we all live in a chaotic Edwardian house in the North West of England. I love to sew,knit (badly),and tinker with all things creative. I have a small business designing childrens items. This blog started life back in 2005 as a journal of my sewing and crafting exploits. Over time it has evolved as things do. Our beautiful daughter Florence Violet was born in July 2009, but sadly died just six hours later. Almost a year later in July 2010 we welcomed Ernest, safe and well into our family. Ernest was born with a posterior tongue tie, high "bubble" palate and tight maxillary frenum (lip tie). Despite surgery, Ernest has never learned to breastfeed,so I exclusively pump my milk for him. So, much as I'd like this to be one of those beautifully stylish sewing blogs, it's a bit more mixed up than that. |
