| Introduction | I have a keen curiosity about the world, sated largely through reading and, as often as possible, travel. I'm happiest sitting in the shade with my nose in a book or divvying up the Sunday paper to share with my husband. Born and raised in Brockton, MA I'm happy to be back on the East Coast after living in San Diego for a spell, largely because it means easier access to Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee (medium, milk, two sugars - thanks!). Living in DC now with my husband and adopted shelter dog I remain a devoted Red Sox fan. After the blog site I was contributing to went belly-up I decided to let down my long red hair and start a blog of my own. No more sitting in the tower waiting for the blog to come to me!
