| Introduction | The day I was born I was very, very small. For the first few months of my life, I couldnt do much at all. Im hungry, but I cant tell anyone-I cant speak. Id like a cuddle but I cant go to find someone because I havent yet learned how to walk, and my legs arent strong enough. What do I do? I cry! I cried and I ate and I slept.haha After a while I stayed awake longer each day. I learned to like my bath. I liked to splash and kick in the water. I grew. And I learned lots more things-about myself and about the world around me. I learned to know my name. I turned my head when I was called. sO clever I kept on growing and learning. Learned to sit and stand, and finally learned to walk alone without my mothers hand. Ive grown up even more now and do lots of things myself. And while I change and grow from the way I used to be, I know deep down inside that Ill always still be me! Who do I share a secret with? Who do I tell my favourite joke to? Who do I call when I have problem? MY FRIENDS. |
