| Introduction | I'm a stay-at-home mother of two and I've been married to my husband Jason for 7 years. I work in the NICU at a local hospital part time so that I can stay at home and raise my family. I'm a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and try to honor Him in all that I do. I decided to start blogging mostly to have a place to share the recipes and photos of the things I've made. Several years ago I was the joke of my family in the kitchen. Now, thanks to a little work and my friends at Food Network, I've shed that image. I love to bake because I love sweet, beautiful things to eat. I love to see the looks on my friend's and family's faces when I bring them something I've made. Everyone can use a little home cookin' now and then. |

| Favorite Music | Christian music. I'm not trying to sound pious, I seriously like most worship songs on our local Christian station. Favorite artists/groups: Third Day, Natalie Grant, Hillsong, Casting Crowns. Also U2, Sting, Sade |
| Favorite Books | Not into reading that much. The last book I read that wasn't the bible was Stepping Heavenward, great book! |
