| Introduction | Since August, 2003, I have owned a very special shop called Feather Your Nest Antiques (see map below). Sharing in my thrill, excitement, and the hard work involved in running an antique shop is my daughter Cora. One or both of us will be there on most days to greet you and assist you with your antique collection or decorating your home. I have loved antiques my whole life and after 23 years working as a Human Resources Manager, I retired and opened the dream of my life. My wish now is to share this dream with fellow antique addicts who love anything old. Visiting "the Nest" is the most enjoyable way to see what's new, but if time or distance don't permit, visit our blog for highlights of the days' happenings. Blogging is such fun anyway! |

| Favorite Books | I'm an avid reader, so I have many favorites. Right now I'm into David McCullogh. I just finished 1776 and John Adams. I never realized I was so uneduacted about our founding fathers until I read these books! Next I want to read Truman by McCullogh.I like Barbara Kingsolver, Jodi Picoult, Phillipa Gregory, John Irving among others. |
