About Me

I was born and raised in Alabama, graduated from Auburn University with Master of Communication Disorders. I worked as a speech pathologist, primarily with adult population, for 10 years. God impressed upon my heart at age 17 that I should become a "missionary", but it wasn't until age 34 that He made that impression a reality...now I work as the house-parent for a faith-based maternity home for girls age 13 to 19. I have a fantastic family and an unbelieveable number of friends who I love with all my heart. My mom went to Heaven on June 9, 2006, but I still have my Dad, Brother, Sister-in-Law, 2 neices, 2 nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. I attend the best church ever, Rainsville First Baptist. I also have 2 good and loyal doggies: Barclay (who is more of a nosey little Meerkat than a dog) and Scottie Gilbert. I'm a single lady, but I think it would be good to be married someday when the time is right!
