| Introduction | 97.1 FM The Sports Animal is owned and operated by Stephens Media Group. Tulsa based shows include Animal Fodder, hosted by Kevin Ward from 9-11a.m., and the Middle of the Day show, hosted by Big Al Jerkens and Coach Pat Jones from 11a.m.-2p.m. Sports Animal Tulsa also carries local programming from The Sports Animal in Oklahoma City, and airs network programming from Yahoo! Sports Radio and Westwood One. Sports Animal Tulsa is the radio home of Union High School football and ORU athletics. The station also carries Oklahoma City Thunder basketball and Texas Rangers baseball. Network stations include AM 1550-Tulsa/Sapulpa, and AM 1490-Muskogee. |
