Steve Weinberg, DVM

About Me

Graduated from UC Davis veterinary school in 1985. Practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area as a hospital clinician, housecall practitioner until relocating back to my roots in sunny, Southern California. Worked as full and part-time in many hospitals and re-established a mobile practice in 1997. Over the past 10 years the practice has grown and evolved into 911 VETS®. Many years in the making, I endeavored to provide desperately needed veterinary care for those pets and owners for whom a hospital visit is difficult or impossible. Each of our veterinarian and technician Providers are carefully screened and selected before they are allowed to join our Network. Each service we provide was borne out of necessity. Constantly evolving and expanding, 911 VETS aims to complement veterinary hospital services by providing home treatment and transport as well as housecall service for their clients. Dr. Weinberg resides in West LA with his wife and children. He enjoys ice hockey, basketball, songwriting and painting.
