About me

Introduction RIBA Yorkshire delivers the services of the Royal Institute of British Architects in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Our mission is to advance architecture by demonstrating the benefit to society and promoting excellence in the profession. The RIBA regions fulfil a vital co-ordinating role between RIBA members and the public. We provide core services for RIBA members including CPD training events, regular email newsletter and architecture awards programmes. We also provide information and assistance for members of the public about architecture and working with architects. RIBA Yorkshire covers the largest county in the country, with diverse landscape ranging from the East Yorkshire coastline and Humber estuary to the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. The region incorporates the cities of Leeds, Bradford, York, Hull and Sheffield, as well as many smaller market towns and villages. The region stretches from Sheffield to just south of Middlesbrough and from the east coast to the border with Lancashire and Cumbria.
