Favorite Books	I have a new-found author---Daniel Woodrell, whose words captivated me from the very first page of WINTER'S BONE, and whose phrasings and imagery are the absolute best I've ever read---by anyone. Stark and spare and harsh, or scented with Ozark wildflowers, his books are magical creatures, with a crafting and a read I can't describe.
