| Introduction | Like most mothers, I wrestle with a jumble of emotions on a regular basis (worry, guilt, happiness, security…etc etc…yawn). I resent Smug Mothers who pretend it’s all easy, that their children are perfect and that it’s just me not coping. The more women share their insecurities and open up to other mothers, the more we realise that, most of the time, we're all in the same big boat – rocky at times (and often with yoghurt smears and broken breadsticks on the floor), but ultimately with beautiful horizons. This blog is about honesty: a no holds barred account of motherhood from my own experiences and those around me, and is designed to make you giggle on a good day and reassure you on a bad one. |
