Does your newspaper drive you crazy every time you read a local article, those that don't come canned off the AP wire that--let's face it--make up a miniscule portion of its news? Do you find yourself stewing over details left out of reporting, questions the reporter should have asked, comments or errors the editor should have caught (if there IS an editor, which I sometimes doubt). If so, check back with me as I "backstory." Many comments will concern education, a field in which I have directly participated as student, researcher, parent, teacher, and administrator for more than half a century.
