| Introduction | I grew up just outside of Denver, Colorado and spent many weekends hiking and camping in the many national and state parks that grace the nearby Rocky Mountains during the 18 years that I lived there. Although I no longer live near the mountains I still want to share my experiences and to provide my readers with news, gear reviews and camping tips everyone that enjoys the great outdoors as much as I do. And in full disclosure, it is my passion for the outdoors that lead me to open a small camping, hiking and backpacking store called Gear & Gadgetry, where I can share my love of camping, hiking, backpacking and the gear that makes the trek awesome.
