| Introduction | Irene Marie has her roots in the Ukrainian punk rock scene of the late 90s, where her accordion playing skills during underground shows with К России с влюбленностью became legendary. The band's mass cult like following was able to protect her and her band from constant persecution by the unhappy authorities. Finally in 2005, she was force to flee to the US because of the pressure from the failed model Irene Marie whose hate, fueled by jealousy over her more beautiful and popular namesake, created false charges on Irene Marie of corrupting the models son and sacrificing young kittens on stage.
Irene Marie spent time hiding out in Savannah, Georgia waiting for the controversy to die down. To keep herself busy, she studied painting and graphic design. Unfortunately, she blew all the money she made in her band on tuition and spent her college years living in a cardboard box behind a bakery, where the kind owner left day old cupcakes on top of the dumpster for her. Now Irene Marie is back in Maryland hawking leather goods and painting on the side until she can return to school to get her masters. |
