After a decade of marriage, we decided to disrupt a life of ease and have three children (long after our parents had given up hope). The first of our quirky spawn arrived in 2005- followed on his heels by a meteorological tornado, and in 2007 by a metaphorical one. The children officially began outnumbering us in 2010.
Despite a prototypical 1990s-era college slacker attitude, I've filled my calendar with everything from river cleanups to square dancing to leading a local ESL group.
