About me

Gender Male
Occupation Derelict
Location Boulder, Colorado, United States
Introduction I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland to two loving parents and an older brother. I popped out with one and a half arms (my right arm missing a few inches below elbow). I always led an active life and had lots of friends. I found climbing and backpacking when I was 12 while on a trip to Colorado and this changed my life forever. I moved to Durango, Co. in 1997 when I was 18 to pursue school (well, ok, to pursue climbing actually). I finally graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2005 (like I said, I was pursuing climbing mostly.) I moved to Boulder, CO. last year and have been enjoying the change. I took up a job at Neptune Mountaineering which has been great. I also am a part of a new non-profit organization called Paradox Sports. Paradox arose to provide equipment, inspiration, opportunity and community to physically disabled athletes wanting to excel at human powered outdoor sports. It has been a great adventure working with Paradox, traveling and meeting many active disabled folks. This is a real life mission of mine to advance the sports that I love for similarly "disabled" people.
