About Me
By day I'm a philosopher, a metaphysician to be precise. My research focuses on human nature and time. Really, though, I'm a generalist; I'll think about law, language, God, anything. By night I try to teach myself slide guitar, trying to replicate that gorgeous, sorrowful sound achieved by Son House and Mississippi Fred, in the hopes of one day becoming a crusty old black alcoholic bluesman from the Delta. I suppose the possibility of such a transformation is itself a metaphysical question.
