About Me

I live in Northern VA, and work as a research assistant by day in Washington, D.C. My primary interests are the impact of the spread of nuclear weapons and related technologies on regional and international security, coercive diplomacy and bargaining strategies, and security studies in general. I am a native of the great state of Texas and graduated from a private university there in December 2006. I plan to one day attend graduate school and read for a PhD. In the meantime, I blog at FPW as a way to catalogue my views and hopefully shed light on and provide context to international affairs. I also enjoy learning from the comments from this site's readers. I blog anonymously to separate my views from that of my daytime employer.
