| Introduction | LSU girl in a Bama/Auburn world. To quote my kids, "Mama is a talker". So, I like to talk to people. As it turns out, this particular skill serves me well in social media. As a restaurant owner, I watched, learned, and figured out how to use Twitter, Facebook, and a few other tricks to market my business successfully. I was connected to my local customers as well as those who came to town as tourists. In April of 2011, I started Gulf Coast Events. A continuous work in progress, it's a list of websites of things to do along the Gulf Coast from Louisiana to Florida. In September 2011, I started Go Fairhope dedicated to promoting the events happening in the community of Fairhope, Alabama.
