Introduction I’m a linguistics doctoral candidate at the University of British Columbia, having done my master’s and bachelor’s at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?

I just looked outside and the horizon is flat. Like any good linguist, I know that one data point is sufficient for confirmation. Ergo, empirical evidence strongly supports the Pancake Model and proponents of the Flatbread Model are deeply misguided.
