Introduction	has lived on earth for 72 years and has been married for nearly 50 of those years to Ellie, his wife. They have two sons, one daughter, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and six absolutely magnificent grandchildren. He enjoys reading, playing the piano, driving in the country, sitting by an ocean or a lake, watching birds fly, gazing into a roaring fire, holding his wife's hand, and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren. He doesn't like doing yard work, walking a dog who is definitely not in the mood, or cleaning up after one who is.
Favorite Movies	Field of Dreams, Out Of Africa, Dances With Wolves, They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, Some Like It Hot, Sound Of Music, To Kill A Mockingbird, Fiddler On The Roof, Casablanca, all three Lord Of The Rings movies, Big Fish, Purple Rose of Cairo, Schindler's List. I might have liked Prince of Tides better if it hadn't had Barbra Streisand and I might have been able to enjoy My Fair Lady if it hadn't had Audrey Hepburn lip-synching to Marni Nixon.
Favorite Books	The Bible in some versions but not others, C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, Pat Conroy, anything by Flannery O'Connor.
