| Introduction | We are a family of five dealing with many "special needs." Our middle child, our only son, has been diagnosed with PDD-NOS, which is on the Autism Spectrum. Instead of trying to change, modify, or otherwise "fix" him, we have decided to enjoy this great person God has put into our lives. It's a difficult journey, one filled with anxiety, disappointment, fear and frustration; but it is also a journey filled with wonder, joy, laughter, enthusiasm and daily snuggles. So rather than trying to change our kids for the sake of conformity, we intend to enjoy the children that God gave us! |
