| Introduction | My name is Kathryn Rowan and I live in Cambridge, MA. In September of 2008 I was trained by DONA International as a Birth Doula and have since been attending births in the Boston area. I am also a Clinical Researcher at Brigham and Women's Hospital where I study birth defects and how they can be prevented. In September of 2009 I will begin the Nurse-Midwifery program at Yale University. As a midwife, I hope to further empower women in the birth process. |
