| Introduction | I am a retired Professor (Education) having worked at the Univ. of CT from 1967 to 1987. Prior to that I was Associate Director of The Center for Studies of Vocational Education at the Univ.. of WI. And prior to that, was Assistant Director of Vocational Education for the State of WI. I began my career as a high school teacher of sience and Math and as a guidance Counselor. On retiring from UConn my wife and I built our own retirement home in Rural Plymouth, WI and lived in it for 18 year. When she was diaagnosed with Parkinson' we decided we should be near our children, all on the east coast, so we moved back to CT. Jeanne (my wife) broke her hip in 2002 and became an invalid. She continued to deteriorate until January of this year when she passed away. I now keep busy with my hobbies, which are many, and love seeing my children and grandchildren |
