| Introduction | I'm a Boston girl who has worked many jobs with and around kids in the non-profit sector. I am also a Buffalo, NY native (and proud!), a musician, and, as you may have guessed, a rather stereotypical redhead--and concerned citizen (a lethal combination!) And now, thanks to the wonders of technology, I have my own little corner of the internet to rant about the state of the world! I will likely be covering all kinds of social and political topics, although, due to my professional focii, you may see a trend towards youth issues and women's issues. However, I am wholeheartedly open to suggestions of topics, as well as questions and comments--the purpose of this is to do my part to get people talking about the important stuff. I like to listen to others' thoughts as much as I like to speak my own. |
| Favorite Music | not even going to name all the artists right now...I listen to a little of everything (and I actually mean that--yes, even rap and country!) but I do tend to focus on acoustic and traditional music--Celtic and Appalachian music, folk rock, blues, bluegrass etc, and those are the "genres" I tend to work in when I'm making my own music. |
