Gary and Lissa Knight

About Me

Having met on a blind date in 1996, it was love at first sight, and 3 months later we married. Gary enjoyed 25 years as a published architectural photographer, and I enjoyed my position as head of the Piano Department at San Jacinto College in Houston, TX for several years, in addition to performing chamber music concerts. In 1997 I moved to Atlanta, where Gary already resided, and in 2000 our darling daughter was born. 3 years later, we discovered Blue Ridge and at that point we came to a crossroads career-wise. We started a cabin rental business, and ultimately discovered that a slower-paced mountain lifestyle was what we wanted for our family. In 2006, our amazing son was born and two weeks after his birth, we permanently moved to Blue Ridge - no more commutes between Atlanta and Blue Ridge! Our passion is to create an idyllic mountain lifestyle for our guests who stay with us, offering them luxurious comforts along with a wide array of things to do in the area. To be able to refresh, rejuvenate, and renew your spirit in God's beautiful creation is what we strive to create for our guests.
