Introduction | Welcome to WCP. I'm Ferree, and I maintain this blog out of gratitude to the Lord for how He pulled me through such a dark time in my own life. I was widowed the day before my 44th birthday when my husband died instantly of a brain aneurysm. I had three teenagers and a lifetime ahead of me, but I sure didn't want it without Bruce! Being a widow was a total shock! God pulled me through with encouragement, role models and hope from the Bible. I've since remarried, but I've found that most women share one big fear--being widowed. I hope this blog can provide a great community to help us all, and that many may be able to someday look back and see God's loving faithfulness, good intent and plan for their life. |

Say what? Let's get back to the blog!
