| Introduction | David j Taylor is an experienced multidisciplinary artist. He's a record producer/engineer/mixer, mastering tech, audio post pro, educator, songwriter and abstract painter. He is the 2007 Western Canadian Music Awards "Producer Of The Year" award winner and multiple WCMA nominee. He was foley recordist/artist for Corner Gas, worked on the 2012 Academy Award "Best Animated Short Film" nominee Wild Life and is a 6 time Gemini Award "Best Overall Sound" nominee. David is a prolific singer-songwriter and performing artist with 15 album releases as a solo artist and with the musical groups Semko Fontaine Taylor (with Jay Semko of The Northern Pikes), Big Cookie, DSM and Generals and Majors. David is also a highly prolific abstract painter who has seen has canvases now shown during 5 gallery exhibitions on the Sunshine Coast. |
