| Introduction | My joy is my family. I try to run a tight ship - making the most from the least. In the kitchen, that means cooking "outside the pot." The challenge is to make delicious and nutritious food that rises above the sum of its parts - while watching the budget. And sometimes, it means recycling last night's dip into tonight's awesome pot of soup. Folks tell me, I'm the best un-chef they've ever known. Influences come from my Cajun mother, New Orleans Creole family recipes and colorful culinary experiences gathered in my travels. My method of cooking is less "chef" and more "artist" and the keyword is 'improvise.' Rest assured, THIS AIN'T JULIA, CHILD. But I bet, if you try some of my food, you'll go back for seconds! |
