Introduction	I believe art is our deepest expression of our presence in the world, that we make what we are and we are what we make...and that our most remote origins lie within us still, accessible only through art. I earned an MFA from Bennington College but spent my career in manufacturing and information technology. I also hold Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor certificates and especially enjoy flying sailplanes. My younger son and daughter-in-law are prominent Seattle artists, with significant public commissions, work in permanent museum collections and shows in major cities. I am blessed with three beautiful granddaughters, gifts from both sons and their spouses. I have just begun showing my own work, some welded sculpture.
