| Introduction | Why the name "Gallo Con Dientes"? This is Spanish for Cock with Teeth. Expressions of unlikelihood in Trinidad and Tobago are usually articulated through the phrase "when cock grow teeth". A more benign phrase may be something like "that'll be the day". But "cock with teeth" sounds so much more contrite and poetic. I am keen on setting up a community site through which all visual art in Trinidad & Tobago can be discussed, reviewed and criticised. I would also like to open up the format a bit and invite debate on current events in Trinidad & Tobago. It is my hope that I could also provide a zeitgeist or context in which our contemporary art is witnessed and interpreted. Please feel free to add your comments. Do enjoy!
