Introduction Vegetarian for over a year and a half, easing into veganism. I have a great puppy I adopted while living in Hawaii for college. His name (which I did not assign to him) is Tripod. Before I adopted him he had a horribly broken leg that needed to be amputated. He runs, jumps, and plays just like a minpin with 4 legs. Right now I am deciding what type of graduate studies I would like to pursue and where I should pursue it. I don't like rice, I try not to use much oil, and I think I'm allergic to wasabi. I will never back down from a spice challenge, I love the feeling spicy food creates from the tiny sweat drops under the eyes and on the forehead, to the clearing of the nasal passageways. I am a vegetarian (nearly vegan) for many reasons. If I don't need meat to sustain life then why should I practice anthropocentricism and take life away from another living being? Reading Gandhi resonated in my mind and I lost the taste for meat. It is better for my heart, cholesterol, the environment, pocketbook :)
Interests Vegetarianism, experimenting with recipes, spicy food, dark chocolate, raw foods, healthy eating
Favorite Movies The New Guy, Undercover Brother. I really don't watch many movies, I feel like there are alternatives to sitting and trying to get lost in the scene. Maybe I just can't relax for that long :)
Favorite Music SKA, punk, rock, jawaiian, hip-hop, trance
Favorite Books Fast Food Nation, Going up the River, War is a Force that Gives Us Meaning.
