About Me
This blog is my attempt to demystify some of Charlotte Mason's philosophy of education, showing real life examples of how we implement her ideas into our home and school. We follow her suggestions pretty closely so this is not a CM lite blog, but what I believe to be a fairly accurate explanation of her ideas. It also chronicles our family's adventures as we homestead in Texas after spending 18 years in congested cities, 12 of those living overseas. Call it 'Mid Life Crisis' if you will, but we are having a ball! Join us as we learn how to keep cows behind a fence, kill monster cottonmouths, chase chickens and raise a herd of Boer goats that's growing faster than we can keep up with.
