About Me

Richard Cobden is one of my political heroes. A nineteenth century political statesman, Cobden made a substantial contribution to the cause of political reform, free trade and internationalism. In the 1830’s, he was a prolific pamphleteer, using the pseudonyms of ‘a radical reformer’ and ‘a Manchester manufacturer.’ I have therefore assumed his name in this anonymous blog. But these are very much my thoughts.
