About Me

About us, really. Well, we are a very happily married pair with a delightful high energy 3 year old and an independent, curious 1 year old. Between us we've lived in Canada, Croatia, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States. We currently have a home a couple of blocks from the Pacific Ocean in Victoria, British Columbia. It'll take dynamite to get us to move from here. CouplesQuestions stemmed from conversations in two of our favourite places, New York City and Tofino, British Columbia. Heather was pregnant with #1 and we knew we wanted her to stay at home with the baby. We thought about quite a few options (it really is a big wide world!) and started developing the online marriage planning idea. With our backgrounds in education and communications, it was a good fit. Still, the research, writing, and developing has been a two year journey. We see this blog as a way to get feedback and a way to give back to the community. Happy couples, happy planet!
