Introduction	I make color-coded spreadsheets at work and in my personal life as well. I like to write - in bite-sized pieces - but don't like finishing what I've written. I love to cook but find myself avoiding the effort of getting the balance of flavors right at the end - or halfway through - or at the beginning, really. My kitchen habits tend to emphasize exciting colors over balanced taste. This blog is an attempt to stop the self-sabotage that comes when I put in five lime wedges instead of one, because they look so nice, and we end up with a mouth-puckering noodle bowl instead of one that uses sour as a way to balance the sweet. In the process, maybe I'll start finishing some of what I write as well. Blog postings seem like manageable chunks of text to start out with.
