www.MacGraphics.net Karen Saunders founded MacGraphics Services in 1990. Projects include ads, logos, flyers, one-sheets, book covers and interiors, corporate identity, audio and video packaging, and much more. Karen has designed the covers of 35 books that have become best-sellers or won awards, including the 2005 Writer’s Digest “Grand Prize” winner for the best self-published book in America. Karen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from Western Michigan University in 1982. A self-taught computer graphic designer, she has been production manager for Cimarron Productions and Genigraphics, both computer graphics and multimedia firms. For several years, she taught desktop publishing classes at Community College of Denver, University of Colorado at Boulder, and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. She was a Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA) board member, program director, and wrote the “Desktop Coach” column for CIPA’s newsletter for 3 years.
