About Me

Nava Tehila is an emerging spiritual Jewish community based in Jerusalem which embodies egalitarianism, joyousness, diversity, and a balance of tradition and innovation. In the past year our musicians have composed original tunes for Kabbalat Shabbat, some of which have already been transported by Jewish and Christian visitors to their home communities around the globe. We have been moved by this response and by many inquiries about how to access our music to produce a cd of sacred music from Jerusalem that will bring the beauty and spirituality of our community to others worldwide. Nava Tehila is led by Rabbi Ruth Gan Kagan.
