| Introduction | This is collection of letters to my sweet angel, Avery Alis. Avery was diagnosed with what the doctors thought to be Thanatophoric Dysplasia around the 18th week of my pregnancy. I carried her for about 3 more months before I got to see her beautiful face in person on 2/16/12. She cried squeaky cries, looked me in the eyes, and then passed peacefully in my arms. Most people only dream of angels; I held one in my arms. |
