Kathy Panoff

About Me

Kathy Panoff came to the University of Richmond in 1995 after a 20-year career in arts education and arts management. Prior to serving as executive director of the Modlin Center for the Arts, Ms. Panoff worked at the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, WGUC-FM, classical public radio from the University of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and the Bank Boston Celebrity Series. Since joining the University of Richmond faculty, Ms. Panoff has presented over 350 world-class touring artists in performances of classical music, jazz, modern dance, world music and dance, performance art and theatre as part of the Modlin Center’s annual Great Performances Series. Ms. Panoff has a faculty appointment in the Department of Music where she directs the arts management interdisciplinary concentration, which has placed students in management positions in arts organizations across the country. Ms. Panoff holds B.M. and M.M. degrees from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
