| Introduction | is a Benedictine monk of Saint Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana. He is editor and writer for Abbey Press' Path of Life Publications, presents spiritual conferences for Benedictine oblates, and is a spiritual director. An Ohio newspaper editor and reporter for 18 years before joining the monastery in 2006, he is the author of several Abbey Press publications on Benedictine and Catholic spirituality. In addition, he has had articles appear in such publications as Priest magazine and the journal Spiritual Life. He holds a master's degree in Theological Studies from Saint Meinrad School of Theology (2012) and a bachelor's degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University (1988). He received numerous Associated Press awards for writing and editing during his newspaper career, and in 2010 won a Catholic Press Association award for an article titled "Monks Build Community One Living Stone Upon Another" for VISION magazine (see link below). |
